Helping children reach their Potential!

RICHARD ROGERS (Director of Sound Connections)

Richard has over 20 years of experience in Education and has taught from Kindergarten to Grade 12 specializing in students who have a range of learning difficulties including emotional and behavioural, autistic spectrum disorder and specific learning difficulties. He has found that early intervention can alleviate a lot of stress, strain and self esteem issues which may otherwise remain with the child through the rest of their lives. Having worked with many older students who have not received the benefits of adequate early intervention, he is passionate about delivering this program to children during this small window of opportunity. This would have far reaching affects in terms of self fulfilment, productivity and personal growth.

Richard has worked in many environments facilitating transitions from elementary schools to secondary schools and from colleges to work environments.

Richard’s final position in England before moving to Canada was to manage a centre for children with learning disabilities as well as the services of the multi-disciplinary team involved with those students.
